Before I began work for Cognex Corporation, I worked for the Georgia Tech Research Institute.  Being a huge organization, it was actually the Intelligent Machines Branch of the Electro-Optical and Intelligent Machine Systems Divsion of the Electro-Optics, Environment, and Materials Laboratory who supported my Masters Thesis Research.

Work

To be fair, my Vision Solutions Department fell under Customer Satisfaction which is under the Modular Vision System Division (MVSD).  But then again being in a satellite office, I had a great deal of interaction with West Coast Sales, a part of North American Sales, a sub-set of Cognex Worldwide Sales which is another part of MVSD.
